ABSTRACTReligious pluralism is often presented as a peaceful solution for resolving interreligious conflict in a multicultural society. However, in contemporary theological discourse, pluralism is not merely understood as the sociological fact of religious diversity, but as a theological-philosophical claim that all religions are equally valid paths to ultimate truth and salvation. This study critically examines whether religious pluralism can be regarded as a biblical solution to peace. Using a qualitative theological-apologetical approach, this research integrates biblical-theological analysis, comparative theological evaluation, and a conceptual-analytical framework to examine the coherence between religious pluralism and the biblical concept of peace. The findings show that religious pluralism, although socially attractive, fails to provide a biblically grounded concept of peace because it relativizes truth, weakens Christian identity, and undermines the uniqueness of Jesus Christ. In contrast, biblical peace, or shalom, is rooted in divine truth, reconciliation with God through Christ, justice, and transformed human relationships. This study contributes a conceptual theological framework that distinguishes between sociological coexistence and biblical peace, arguing that Christians may support dialogue, tolerance, and public peace without accepting theological pluralism.
